BCSS Gloucester & District Branch
50th Anniversary Special Meeting
In 2016 we celebrate our 50th anniversary.
Back in 2006 we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a barbecue at Geoff's National Agave Collection, where his large Agave americana was in flower for the occasion.
On Saturday 9th July 2016 our regular monthly meeting will be replaced with a 50th Anniversary Special Meeting. It will take place at our usual venue (Longford Village Hall) but will run from 2pm to 7pm.
There will be two speakers, plant sales and a buffet tea. The speakers are Colin Walker on 'Agaves through the ages' and Graham Charles on 'Searching through the back roads of Peru'.
Entry is by ticket only, at £5 each. Entry is free for Gloucester Branch members (anyone who has paid their 2016 subs and is registered with Gloucester Branch), but a ticket is still required, so that we know the numbers for catering.
Tickets now available from John Foster.
